Frontal-Subcortical Real Estate: Location, Location, Location
This chapter reviews frontal-subcortical circuitry. The functions of the prototypical circuits are described. This includes descriptions of the dorsolateral, orbitofrontal, and medial circuits.
Methodologies for evaluating these regions are described, and it is concluded that neuropsychological tests do not measure the unique functions of all of these circuitries. A clinical case example which illustrates this point is presented.
